     1.  You'll retain more information if you study for eight hours over four days instead of eight hours at one time.
     2. Instead of trying to learn all of the material for your exam at one time, study only one or two chapters.
     3. You need a great deal of repetition to learn it all.
     4. Overlearning involves continuing to work on material even after its learned.
     5. Mnemonic Devices are very helpful memory tricks.
     6. Forming Association is always important when you're trying to remember something.
     7. High-level rehearsal strategies such as outlining, predicting questions, and creating charts and concept  maps involve elaborative rehearsal.
     8. You can paint visual pictures in your mind to remember main points and supporting information.
     9. Organizational Strategies allow you to organize the information to make it easier to learn and recall.
    10. You can improve your ability to remember things my grouping or chunking it together.

2. Pseudo Forgetting - theres a block between your short term memory and your long term memory.

3. 3 Theories about why we forget information:
     1. Never really learned it - Just reading over information doesn't guarantee that you will get information isn't really effective for storing information at all.
     2. Not understanding the information - even if you practice information seven or eight times, you can't  learn it if you don't really understand it.
    3. Interference - studying closely related information often leads to interference, you reach into your long-term memory storehouse and pull out one piece of information instead of the other.

4. In 24 hours we forget 70% of the information if we do not review.

5. The most important thing in having a great memory is to organize the information when we store it so It'll be easier when you go back and try to locate it later.
